How Was GoGoLearner Created?

With hundreds of stories written by Ms. Brondy Shanker over a 20-year time span, GoGoLearner aims to provide students, teachers, and parents with a fun, neutral, and stress-free English reading environment that they can enjoy.

The GoGoLearner team of enthusiastic Web developers strives to create a wide variety of learning tools in order to entice kids, teens and adults to enjoy learning and to help make teachers' and parents' job stress-free. The content of GoGoLearner entails reading materials suitable for students from first grade to senior grades - and it has been proven across the nation to be useful for adult English learners as well. 

Together, we seek to make all GoGoLearner content:

• Reader-friendly - We're experts at converting classroom materials into easy-to-use computer programs for kids and teens. By letting kids see how other kids are reading and understanding the same story, we create a learning environment that makes reading a group activity with lots of fun.
• Effective - The many hundreds of stories on the site all undergo rigorous review and/or field tests by teachers and educators from various institutions nationwide. Students who have gone through this program have collectively demonstrated high test scores from various English proficiency exams.
• Practical - GoGoLearner stories combine clear, explanatory information for teachers and parents who may not be experts in the English language. It allows self-paced English learning based on a student’s ability. Teachers and parents can help kids and teens with this information and gain the love of reading that will show improvement day by day.
• Objective - As an independent organization, we have no state curriculum requirements to dictate, so you can enjoy the original stories that are balanced, fun, and not influenced by special interests. Our sole focus is to help kids and teens enhance their English reading ability.

What About Our Teacher?

Should GoGoLearner take the place of your teacher and school? Absolutely not!!! Nothing takes the place of a teacher and a two-way conversation with time for questions and answers. What GoGoLearner can do is to help students develop a deeper understanding of the many vocabulary, grammar, and comprehension subjects affecting children and teens - and encourage them to actively pursue reading for a lifetime.
